Today I am reviewing the new Atkins Frozen Meals. I am trying the Italian Sausage Primavera. I bought it at Wal Mart for $3.48
The Italian Sausage Primavera meal consists of Italian Sausage with cauliflower, green beans and spinach in a creamy parmesan romano cheese and red pepper sauce.

65 mg of cholesterol
900 mg of sodium
10 grams of carbohydrates
5 grams of fiber
3 grams of sugar
16 grams of protein
Italian Sausage (Pork, Water, Spices, Salt, Paprika, Garlic Powder), Cauliflower, Water Green Beans, Green Bell Pepper, Spinach, Onion, Roasted Red Bell Peppers, Contains Less than 2% of the Following: Parmesan and Romano Cheese Blend (Parmesan Cheese [Pasteurized Skim Milk, Cheese Cultures, Salt, Enzymes], Romano Cheese [Pasteurized Part Skim Cow’s Milk, Cheese Cultures, Salt, Enzymes]), Cream, Canola Oil, Red Wine Vinegar, Whey Protein Concentrate, Modified Food Starch, Resistant Maltodextrin, Salt, Flavorings, Xanthan Gum, Soy Lecithin, Disodium Inosinate and Disodium Guanylate.

The ingredient list contained a lot of things I couldn’t pronounce.
The amount of sodium and cholesterol could be an issue for some people.
The total amount of food in the meal was less than 1 cup. I would recommend pairing the frozen meal with a large salad etc. if you wanted to really fill up.
It actually was very delicious! It tasted much better then it looked.
The sausage was very tasty. It tasted comparable to what I would cook at home. It had a slight spice to it; which I liked.
The green beans were a pleasant surprise – they were not overly cooked like most frozen meals. Their fresh taste really came through quite nicely.
The meal tasted good. I would keep a few on hand and eat occasionally on busy days.
