Greek Yogurt – Low Carb Food Find

Craving Greek Yogurt?

Regular fruited Greek Yogurt (i.e. Chobani Strawberry) contains 20 g. of carbs and 140 calories. 

However, their are a few lower carb alternatives to this:

Dannon Light & Fit Strawberry Greek Yogurt has less then half the carbs at 8 g. of carbs and 80 calories.  It is pretty decent tasting in my opinion.

The natural alternative is 6 oz. of plain Greek Yogurt (Chobani) which has 7 g. carbs.  You can add about 2 small diced fresh strawberries to it for 1 additional net carb.

Do you occasionally eat yogurt as part of a lower carb diet?

    I love the Dannon Light & Fit pineapple Greek yogurt! It’s like eating ice cream because it is so thick and rich and I think that variety only has 6 carbs!
